Val Gardena is a popular holiday destination for lovers of the Dolomites who enjoy being active in the mountains.

In the summer months, hikers and mountain bikers conquer the forests and meadows around the famous Dolomite peaks. Climbers also get their money's worth here.

In winter, the region is a paradise for winter sports enthusiasts thanks to the Sellaronda, the huge selection of slopes in the Dolomiti Superski ski area and the family-friendly hills on the Alpe di Siusi.

How to find us

Thanks to its location between Val Gardena and Castelrotto, Chalet Scherlin is the ideal starting point for excursions to the Alpe di Siusi and numerous other destinations in the Dolomites. You can reach our chalet from the motorway via the Chiusa exit. Follow the road towards Ortisei and turn off towards Roncadizza shortly before entering the village.

Once you're here, simply leave your car: The free bus that takes you directly to the skiing and hiking area departs just 5 minutes from the chalet.
